ABOUT ME

Hi! I’m Lucia Nicolò, aka Chef Luni. I’m an Italian chef, consultant, and author currently based in Bali.

My background began in the arts, which continues to shape my culinary vision: colorful, expressive, and balanced. Over the years, I’ve developed deep expertise in healthy cuisine, with a focus on creating menus for people with Celiac disease, IBS, FODMAP intolerance, and lactose intolerance.

 

Beyond the plate, I specialize in kitchen management, team training, food cost control, and strategic problem solving. I have a natural ability to quickly assess what a restaurant or food business needs, and to find smart, effective solutions that optimize operations and improve performance.

 

I carry out continuous research, and this dedication has led to the publication of several books on food cost, restaurant strategy, and culinary innovation.

Photography and travel are also essential parts of my creative process, inspiring not only my dishes but the way I connect cultures through food.

 

I don’t just cook, I create experiences, tell stories, and help others grow.
